Heavy Equipment Trailer

The City of Tulsa is soliciting bids under IFB 27-513 for a new, current year model Holden TDO 40 Heavy Equipment Trailer or an acceptable equivalent for its Water and Sewer Department. The required equipment must feature a minimum payload of approximately 40,000 lbs, an A-frame style tongue of at least 5 feet, 12.25 by 7.50 inch air spring brakes with an anti-lock system, and 215/75R/17.5 LR-H tires. The trailer must comply with all State of Oklahoma and federal highway safety laws, including DOT requirements for 24-hour operation. The successful seller must provide two complete sets of parts, service, and operator manuals and handle all unloading for items exceeding 500 lbs. The contract will be awarded to the lowest secure bidder based on price and specifications, though the City may also consider bidder history, experience, delivery time, and performance data. This is intended as a one-year annual contract with the possibility of additional one-year extensions. Delivery is F.O.B. Tulsa, Oklahoma, and payment terms are net 30 days following the receipt of a proper invoice. Bidders must submit two sealed copies, one original and one copy, and provide a sworn affidavit of non-collusion and interest. The City reserves the right to require a performance demonstration within 30 days of the bid date to verify that the equipment meets all specified requirements.
