Full Description

The government intends to award a firm fixed price contract to provide helicopter mulching (heli-mulching) on about 331 acres of the Schultz Fire. Contractor shall provide helicopter(s), qualified pilot(s), fuel, wood shred mulch and be responsible for aerial application. Contractor shall provide ground crews to sling mulch, loading equipment, safety equipment, transportation, lodging and meals for contractor personnel. Contractor shall be responsible for all wood shred mulch delivered to project location to two existing staging areas located within the fire perimeter. The solicitation package (plans, SOW, specs, etc.) will be posted on or about 10 May 2011.
