Heron Industrial Park

The Municipality of West Perth has issued Request for Tenders WP-018-2026 for the complete construction of the Heron Industrial Park located at Lot 21 and 22 Concession 1, Mitchell, Ontario. The project scope encompasses comprehensive infrastructure development, including earthworks, the installation of sanitary and storm sewers, watermains, force mains, and a stormwater management facility. Additionally, the contractor will be responsible for the full road structure on Herbert Street, Frank Street, Water Street, and Stacey Lane, as well as the construction of an electrical building, wet well, valve and meter chamber, and a generator pad for the Heron Industrial Park Sewage Pumping Station. Key deliverables include a detailed construction schedule, operational electrical power distribution systems, and an as-built process control narrative. Mandatory requirements include a site visit on October 6, 2026, and the provision of a performance bond for 100 percent of the total bid price. The contract is administered by B. M. Ross and Associates Limited, with specific quality standards requiring compliance with the Ontario Building Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and CSA certifications for water piping components. Delivery of equipment is estimated at 18 to 20 weeks following approved submittals, with shipping terms set as DDP job site.
