Hillcrest Medical Center Renewal (Hmcr)

The Hillcrest Medical Center Renewal project, identified as UCSD Project No. 5551 and DPR Project No. D1-A25012-00, is a major public works construction initiative led by the University of California, San Diego, with DPR Construction serving as the Construction Manager at Risk. The project encompasses the construction of a new 700,000 to 850,000 square foot, 300-bed hospital featuring a Level One Trauma Center, surgical and imaging facilities, and a 20,000 square foot Central Utility Plant, with an estimated total project cost between $1.5 billion and $2 billion.
