The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District intends to solicit for the Holland North Revetment Repairs located in Holland, Michigan.

NO SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS, OR DRAWINGS are available for this Notice.
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT notice to determine the capabilities of both small AND large business firms. Qualified companies, regardless of their size or socio-economic status, are encouraged to respond. Two or more small business firms capable of performing this work may help to guide the acquisition strategy and influence potential set-aside. Businesses are strongly encouraged to review this SOURCES SOUGHT and submit according to the directions in this notice.
Project Scope: The project involves the rehabilitation of approximately 515 feet of the Holland North Revetment, specifically targeting Sections C, D, and E. The primary objectives are:
• Reduce Wave Overtopping & Erosion: Increase the elevation of the bulkhead and concrete walkway to match the adjacent NOAA Gauge House.
• Address Deterioration: Remediate the aging and deteriorating existing structures, which consist of timber cribs and Wakefield walls encapsulated with steel sheet piling in the mid-20th century.
• Chosen Design: An anchored steel sheet pile bulkhead will be installed on the landward side of the existing wall. The design includes an NZ 26 front wall, an NZ 19 anchor wall, a new 10-foot wide pile-supported concrete walkway, and new pipe railings.
The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement for this requirement. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. All small business set-aside categories will be considered. Both Large and Small Business firms who are interested are encouraged to respond to this Sources Sought Notice. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted nor acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding submissions. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB) and is for market research purposes only.
