Solicitation # FA558726Q0056
Solicitation FA558726Q0056 is a firm fixed price request for quote issued by the 48th Contracting Squadron for the procurement of one complete Drop Zone/Landing Zone (DZ/LZ) marking system for the 321 STS at RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom. The required system must be equivalent to a LodeStar 2 Bravo kit configuration, consisting of at least 30 individual lights. Key technical specifications include full compatibility with Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) software for handheld device control, a reliable line-of-sight control range between 3,000 and 15,000 feet, and a minimum luminous intensity of 15 candelas. The equipment must be durable enough to withstand tire rollovers and high-velocity jet blasts from C-130 and C-17 aircraft, adhering to DAFMAN 13-217 and Unified Facilities Criteria standards. The government will award the contract based on a best value determination, weighing both technical capability and price. Offerors must submit a price quotation using the provided quote sheet and a separate technical document not exceeding 20 pages. All items must be delivered to RAF Mildenhall within 90 calendar days of the award date, with shipping and marking complying with MIL-STD-129 and MIL-STD-130. Due to the overseas location, there is no specific set-aside, although a price evaluation preference is noted for HUBZone small businesses. Eligible vendors must maintain an active SAM account and provide a CAGE or NCAGE code. Invoicing and payment will be processed electronically through the Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF) system.
