SUMMARY:Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the City of Merritt (the “City”) invites Proposals from experienced civil contracting firms, to perform construction services for the City’s proposed widening and improvements to Houston Street in Merritt, BC (the ‘Project’). Full details of the Work required is provided in Part A of this RFP. Contract Time: The following are key milestone dates required for the Work:The Work may commence anytime on or after: October 12th, 2026.Substantial Performance of the Work: must be achieved no later than May 28th 2027.Total Performance of the Work must be achieved no later than May 31st 2027.Form of Contract: The Contract placed as a result of this RFP will be the MMCD (Master Municipal Construction Documents) 2019 Edition Unit Price Contract, together with supplementary conditions as detailed in Part C of this RFP.Full details of the Work required is provided in Part A of the RFP documents.
