RFQ GUIDELINES
SAWS requests that all pricing furnished include delivery/freight (i.e., F.O.B. Destination). Each item listed shall be awarded to the bidder providing the overall lowest qualified bid, base year and extensions considered, if applicable. SAWS reserves the right to award this RFQ to one source. Terms and conditions of this RFQ and resultant contract shall be in accordance with DIR, DIR-TSO-4160 IS REQUIRED. Electronic quotes can not be accepted after the specified date/ time. Quotes received late will not be considered in the evaluation.
SCOPE: The San Antonio Water System is soliciting quotes for two plant's hardware infrastructure five year replacement. Chill Water and both Production Control System at (HQ and Echo) system's will be replaced. This purchase will also replace the Nimble storage hardware for each plant which are End of Life. This hardware purchase combines both the computer hardware and storage which in the past were two separate system purchases (server/storage). The HPE solution is now one complete system. The three systems of server and storage will be covered by a three year support contract and includes installation of the hardware. HPE 3 year term to be paid annually.
