Hybrid Horizontal Lathe Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) Program

The Department of Defense, through DLA Aviation, intends to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for the procurement of commercial DMG Mori Hybrid Horizontal Lathes under solicitation number 25-40-1005, with a planned publication date of July 31, 2026. Packaging and preservation must prevent corrosion during transit and storage, and all delivery and performance, including installation and warranty service, will occur primarily at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Contractual obligations include a 95% machine technical availability guarantee, a four-hour response time for critical failures, and a 24-hour parts delivery commitment. Post-award deliverables include quarterly warranty and non-warranty repair reports, root cause analyses, calibration documentation traceable to NIST, security compliance certifications under DOD Instruction 8510.01, and software patch management plans. Proposals must be submitted through the DLA DIBBS portal, with the response deadline set for August 1, 2026, and all documentation must be provided in searchable PDF, DXF, or Excel formats.
