NASA's National Space Science Center (NSSC) requires Hydraulic Very High Cycle Fatigue Testing specifically for the additive manufacturing materials GRCop-42 and 718. This testing will be procured through a sole source contract awarded to Product Evaluation Systems, located in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, as they are identified as the only provider capable of delivering the required services. The work will be conducted at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), and the procurement process will follow the regulations and procedures outlined in FAR Part 12 for the acquisition of commercial items. The solicitation, identified under the NAICS code 541380, was posted on June 9, 2026, with a response deadline of June 11, 2026. While NASA intends to proceed with a sole source contract, other organizations interested in providing similar testing services are invited to submit their capabilities in writing by the deadline, which will help determine if a competitive procurement process is warranted. Oral communications are not accepted for this notice. Cody Guidry, a Procurement Specialist II, serves as the primary contact for this acquisition, and NASA provides an Ombudsman to address any concerns or complaints related to this procurement.
