Stony Brook University Hospital plans to procure the i-Factor Peptide Bone Graft and related items from Cerapedics Inc. under a Premier GPO contract that spans from January 1, 2021, to June 30, 2024. This procurement is authorized under a specific statutory authority that allows purchases from consortium or similar entities without a formal competitive process, provided the price justification is met. The contract period for the current procurement aligns with the GPO contract, and Stony Brook reserves the right to extend the agreement if the original contract is extended. Vendors interested in supplying these products must contact the designated procurement officer to discuss the opportunity, adhering strictly to the NYS Lobbying Law, which restricts communication to the named contact to avoid penalties such as debarment. The solicitation, titled "I-FACTOR PEPTIDE BONE GRAFT AND RELATED ITEMS," is open for responses until January 31, 2024, with the contract set to commence on February 1, 2024, and conclude on June 30, 2024. The procurement is located at SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital in Suffolk County, New York. Vendors must submit all required documentation, including vendor responsibility forms, NYS tax compliance, and workers’ compensation and disability forms, as part of the process. This opportunity is not set aside for service-disabled veteran-owned businesses, and the goods have previously been purchased from out-of-state or foreign vendors within the past three years. The primary contact for inquiries is Kyle Cosgrove, Procurement Officer, reachable via email or phone.
