Full Description

The contractor shall provide, as part of the DDS development team, Release Management Support and Production Support for DDS. The Release Manager will be responsible for gathering the information necessary to create a software release schedule by working with the software development leads, supervisors and System Manager. Once the release schedule is confirmed, the Release Manager is responsible for coordinating communication on the release, from the time the release is established until it is turned over to the System Management office. The Production Support contractors will be responsible for the review, analysis and resolution of any DDS Remedy trouble tickets assigned to them. Resolutions may include software changes, data correction, hardware replacement or additional customer training. Production Support contractors must have knowledge of the hardware and software necessary to run DDS. They must understand the functionality of the systems, as well as installation and deployment, hardware and routine maintenance functions. It will be necessary for contractors to have technical understanding of the hardware and operating environments at Defense Enterprise Computing Centers (DECC) or I&T - Corporate Services, as well as other distributed base platforms where finance and accounting systems are in use.
