The USDA Forest Service anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price construction contract for the Copper Creek Culvert on the Bonners Ferry Ranger District, Idaho Panhandle National Forests, Boundary County, Idaho. The project area can be accessed from Bonners Ferry, Idaho, by taking Highway 95 North for approximately 30 miles and turning right on FSR2517 for 3 miles to Copper Creek. The project includes removal of an existing 7 foot x 70 foot culvert and replacing it with a 14 foot x 9 foot 10 inch x 75 foot long Steel Structural Plate Arch with cutoff walls. The work will consist of constructing a stream channel through the pipe and installing grade control structures within and outside the culvert near the inlet and outlet, and placing commercial source structural backfill material for construction around the structure and commercial source surface aggregate on the road. This procurement is set aside for HubZone small business. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies (other than for those listed as Government-furnished items) and supervision necessary to complete all required construction.
