IFB #2627-004 Partial Roof Replacement and Exterior Building Repairs at Fort Dorchester ES & Exterior Building Repairs at Joe Pye ES

Dorchester School District Two is soliciting sealed competitive bids under IFB #2627-004 for exterior building repairs and partial roof replacement at Fort Dorchester Elementary School and exterior wall repairs at Joe Pye Elementary School. The scope of work at Fort Dorchester ES includes the removal and replacement of low-slope roof systems in Areas 1 and 3 with a 20-year warrantable assembly, as well as the replacement of the steep slope roof gutter and downspout systems. Both schools will undergo exterior wall renovations involving masonry repointing and exterior painting. The project requires the contractor to provide mock-ups for paint systems, gutters, and metal edges, and includes specific quantity allowances for repairing corroded steel decks, replacing deteriorated plywood or wood blocking, and repointing 3,050 linear feet of mortar joints.
