The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, bonds, licenses, insurance, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to provide inspection, testing, preventive maintenance, certification, tagging, and authorized repair and replacement services for commercial kitchen fire suppression systems and Class K portable fire extinguishers at six (6) CMD facilities. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov and shall include the Contracting Analyst listed in this IFB as a copied recipient. Subject line must include the IFB No. 132845, Fire Suppression Systems Maintenance at Multiple Locations and Contractor Business Name. Prospective bidders MUST attend the mandatory pre-bid job walk on 10/8/2026, at 10:00 AM at Moreno Valley/March Air Reserve Base, 14941 Riverside Dr., Riverside, CA 92518. This location is the Armory next to the active Base. Detailed information/instructions will be found in the IFB Packet, Page 4, Section 3.b. Arrive at least 15 minutes early and bring business cards. Failure to arrive at the designated meeting location by the scheduled start time may result in disqualification from submitting a bid. Bidders who do not remain for the entire pre-bid job walk may be considered non-responsive and may not be allowed to bid on this project.
