The Brunswick-Glynn County Water and Sewer Commission requests utility contractors to submit bids for furnishing all skill, labor, materials (unless noted otherwise), tools, equipment and incidentals required to install approximately 2,500 linear feet of 8-inch HDPE DR11 sewer force main. The project is located in the north mainland district along Golden Isles Parkway in Glynn County, Brunswick, Georgia. Sealed bids will be received by the Brunswick-Glynn County Water and Sewer Commission at the Administrative Office located at, 1703 Gloucester Street, Brunswick, Georgia 31520 until 12:00 NOON EST on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
2.0 SCOPE OF WORK The scope of work under this contract consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals required to be constructed completely in place and ready to operate a new 8-inch sanitary sewer force main. More specifically the work includes but not limited to:
¿ Installation of approximately 2,500 linear feet of 8-inch HDPE force main and associated fittings and valves. ¿ Abandonment of approximately 65 linear feet of 6-inch HDPE force main. ¿ Traffic control. ¿ Bypass pumping. ¿ Clearing, grubbing and grassing. ¿ Erosion and sedimentation control. ¿ Testing and disinfection.
