Granite School District is seeking bids to procure Stryker Lifepak CR2 Fully Automatic AEDs with specific requirements including English language interface, child mode, handle, USB connectivity, and an 8-year warranty. Each unit must be supplied with one pair of adult/child Quick-Step electrodes and one battery, both with a minimum 4-year lifespan, along with a USB cable and operating instructions. Vendors must guarantee that all units are new, genuine Stryker products sourced directly from the manufacturer or authorized distributors; refurbished, used, grey-market, or third-party modified devices are strictly prohibited. Bids must be submitted via the official cost sheet, incorporating a trade-in rebate for eligible ZOLL AED Plus units, which will be collected by the district using original packaging materials while the vendor covers all associated shipping costs and provides packing slips for each shipment to the rebate center. The district is requesting quotations for 30 AEDs with trade-in rebate and 20 without, anticipating an additional purchase of approximately 50 units in February, contingent on the awarded vendor maintaining the original pricing. If pricing cannot be honored, the district will resolicit the order through competitive bidding. While the intent is to award a single contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, the district reserves the right to award separate contracts if a different vendor offers lower pricing for the non-trade-in units. The district may also purchase up to 50 additional units within the following 12 months, provided the vendor agrees to honor the awarded pricing. All bids must be submitted by the deadline, and responses must include the designated shipping details and information on qualifying trade-in devices, which are primarily ZOLL AED Plus units with serial numbers beginning in X17A or X17B followed by six digits.

Issuing and Conducting Procurement Unit: Granite School District
The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to establish a contract for the purchase of Stryker Lifepak CR2 Fully Automatic AEDs in accordance with the following specifications:
Specifications: • Lifepak CR2 Fully Automatic, USB, English, Child Mode, Handle, 8-year warranty • Must include: • One (1) pair of adult/child Quick-Step electrodes (4-year lifespan minimum) • One (1) battery (4-year lifespan minimum) • USB cable • Operating instructions
Vendor must certify that all products supplied under this IFB are new, genuine Stryker products and are sourced directly from Stryker or through distribution channels authorized by the manufacturer. Grey-market, refurbished, used, or third-party modified units will not be accepted.
Vendors must complete the provided cost sheet as their official quote. A trade-in rebate will be included and evaluated as part of the quote. The vendor must provide packing slips for all shipments to the AED rebate center and cover all associated shipping costs. Granite School District will handle packaging the trade-in items using the same packaging materials that the new AEDs come in. The contractor will be responsible for paying for shipping. We can coordinate pickup.
We are requesting pricing for: • 30 AEDs with a trade-in rebate, and • 20 AEDs without a trade-in rebate.
Additional anticipated purchase: Dependent on awarded vendor's pricing, we anticipate ordering approximately 50 additional units in February. If the awarded vendor is able to maintain the awarded pricing, we intend to purchase the additional units from the same vendor. If the vendor is unable to honor the awarded pricing, the District will resolicit the purchase through a new competitive bid process. The purchase will once again be approximately 30 AEDs with a trade-in rebate and 20 without.
It is anticipated that this IFB will result in a single award to the lowest-cost responsive and responsible vendor. However, if the pricing for the 20 AEDs without a rebate is lower from a different vendor, Granite School District reserves the right to make multiple awards. Granite School District reserves the right to purchase additional units within the next 12 months, provided the supplier agrees to honor the original pricing.
Shipping address and details on cost sheet.
Trade in device information: They are all ZOLL AED Plus units. Most have serial numbers beginning with X17 and either A or B followed with 6 numbers. We do not have exact serial numbers as the AEDs are spread throughout our campuses. Please let me know if you need additional information.

The procurement is hosted online through the Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration’s contract bid search portal, where additional details about the requirements and evaluation criteria may be accessed. No physical location or zip code is specified for the office or place of performance, but the activity is centrally managed by the state agency within Mississippi.
