The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has issued Invitation for Bid 32A0730 for the replacement of an Exhaust Evacuation System (EES) at the District 32 Equipment Shop 1 in Eureka, Humboldt County. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and permits necessary to remove and legally dispose of the existing system and install a new EES, including motors, reels, switches, ducting, and wiring. The estimated period of performance begins on October 1, 2026, and concludes on September 30, 2027, with work to be performed during normal business hours. The total bid proposal must not exceed $484,000.00, as any amount exceeding this limit will be deemed non-responsive.
