The IG Office HON Furniture contract, solicited by the Department of Defense under the W7NV Uspfo Activity Okang 138, involves the procurement of specific office furnishings for an IG office space in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This acquisition was conducted as a brand-name-only purchase for Hon furniture to ensure standardization and uniformity with existing office assets, as justified under FAR 6.302-1. The procurement process included a market survey and a pre-bid request for information phase to clarify technical specifications, such as the 10700 series waterfall edge and mahogany color finishes. The scope of work details a comprehensive list of requirements including mahogany wood desks, returns, a conference table, various executive and guest chairs, a loveseat, wardrobes, and modular walls with doors. These items are subject to specific dimensions, materials, and feature requirements to meet the functional needs of the office. The contract was managed by contracting specialists David A. Hugueley and Amanda Lonsdale, with the final approval granted for other-than-full-and-open competition based on the necessity of brand consistency.
