Illumina MiSeq i100 System

The FDA Office of Acquisition and Grant Services is procuring a single Illumina MiSeq i100 Whole Genome Sequencing System for use at the Irvine Medical Products Laboratory under a sole-source acquisition authorized under FAR Part 12 and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), as the system is the only one capable of integrating with existing validated laboratory workflows, consumables, sequencing methods, software environments, and operational procedures. The acquisition includes the complete system with control computer, monitor, onboard software, and RFID-based consumable tracking, along with delivery, installation, up to three operator training sessions, and a one-year manufacturer warranty. No trade-offs between cost and technical performance are permitted.
