In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, FSIS Eastern Laboratory intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Illumina, Inc. for the Illumina preventative maintenance The contractor shall furnish all labor, parts and travel to perform preventative maintenance visit on Illumina's equipment (MiSeq serial number M02848 and MiSeq serial number M02854) at the USDA, FSIS, OPHS, Eastern Laboratory located at 950 College Station Road, Athens, GA 30605 and perform these services in 1 to 3 day response time. Please submit your interest in response to this notice, and a description of your capabilities and past experiences to perform this requirement. This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. The Government does not intend to pay for information received. All interested parties must respond within five calendar (5) days from the date of this notice. Written responses must provide clear and concise documentation indicating your firm's capability to meet the requirement. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement#735691. If after Friday, April 3, 2015, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement; USDA/FSIS shall negotiate solely Illumina, Inc.
