This contract is for protocol development of selected immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence markers to investigate body condition and metabolic physiology of humpback whales in British Columbia. Specific objectives are:
• Protocol development for Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and Immunofluorescence (IF) of specific markers associated with lipid metabolism.
• Preparation of samples for IHC and IF staining.
• Sectioning and slides preparation of fixed and stained samples
• Digital scanning of slides
