In-House Pipeline Replacement Work FY 2026-27

The Crescenta Valley Water District is implementing the In-House Pipeline Replacement Work for the FY 2026-27 period, located in La Crescenta, Los Angeles County. This project involves the replacement of up to 2 miles of existing pipeline and is funded through the approved FY 2026-27 Budget and Capital Improvement Program allocation. The scope of work focuses on the repair, maintenance, minor alteration, and reconstruction of existing utility facilities within existing rights-of-way, ensuring the infrastructure maintains substantially the same purpose and capacity with no significant expansion of use. The project is designated as in-house work to be performed by District staff rather than an external contractor. For regulatory purposes, the project has been evaluated under the California Environmental Quality Act and is categorically exempt under State CEQA Guidelines 15301 and 15302, as well as Public Resources Code sections 21083 and 21110.
