Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) Bahrain

The Department of Defense's Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Europe, Africa, Central (EURAFCENT) Naples, Italy, is preparing to issue a multiple-award IDIQ construction contract covering sustainment, restoration, modernization, alteration, demolition, repair, and new construction of facilities across Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates. The contract will support a broad range of projects, including waterfront and airfield facilities, and will be executed through firm-fixed price task orders using either design-bid-build or design-build methods. The procurement is open to all qualified firms under NAICS code 236220, with a small business size standard of $45 million, and may result in multiple awards to ensure competition and fair distribution of work. The initial contract period will be one year, with four optional one-year extensions, and the government may extend performance up to six months if no follow-on contract is awarded at the end of the options. The solicitation is expected to be released between January and February 2025, with an anticipated award date in September 2025. The contract will replace a previous similar contract with a shared award value of over $32 million and a maximum capacity of $95 million.
