The Air Force's 670th Aeronautical Systems Squadron is continuing to develop a Non-Line-of-Sight (XLOS) Sensor (currently Battlefield Air Targeting Micro Air Vehicle, BATMAV) for Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) battlefield airmen. This notice is provided as a, "heads up," to inform industry of a forthcoming Industry Day at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base on 20-21 July 2010. This Industry Day is a market research tool to address the requirements of the XLOS (current and pending future) as well as to determine the commercial availability and adequacy of potential sources, and will be used to determine the basis for any acquisition strategy.
