Industry Engagement Day - Flood Hazard Identification and Mapping Program (FHIMP) While Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is finalizing the first phase of the Flood Hazard Identification and Mapping Program (FHIMP), NRCan is expanding FHIMP activities under the National Adaptation Strategy. The FHIMP is a cost-shared program with provinces and territories to complete flood maps for higher-risk areas and disseminate this flood hazard information to the public.
On July 9, 2024 from 1:15 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. EDT, NRCan will host a virtual “Industry Engagement Day” to present an update of FHIMP.
This session is open to all interested stakeholders, suppliers and associations involved in this Industry. NRCan will engage Industry in a discussion of the current scope of the program, highlighting successes from the first phase of FHIMP and providing updated program requirements and details.
