Full Description

This USPSC Information Officer position is located in the Program Office at the USAID/Haiti Mission in Port-au-Prince. The incumbent provides a full range of information support to PCPS and the Mission in the context of the post-earthquake USG strategy. The position requires a broad-based understanding of an extremely complex and dynamic development portfolio, an understanding of the overall Mission strategy and key messaging, and an ability to respond quickly to demands for information. The Information Officer also provides support to the Front Office and technical teams, serving as the point of contact for responding to requests for briefing memos, fact sheets, congressional reporting, and other information requests for the Mission. S/he will serve as a liaison with the Haiti Task Team and other USAID/Washington offices to assist with USAID/Haiti's responses to Congressional and public inquiries. S/he will work under the supervision of the PCPS Chief or his/her designee.
