Information Technology Services

The City of Traverse City is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide comprehensive Information Technology services for a three-year contract term. The scope of work focuses on enhancing digital infrastructure and operational efficiency through IT infrastructure management of Cisco, Dell, SonicWall, and Aruba systems, cybersecurity services including threat assessments and incident response, and software support for M365, Google Workspace, BS&A, and ArcGIS. Additionally, the selected vendor will provide 24x7x365 help desk support, data management with disaster recovery, and strategic IT planning. Because the municipality serves as a Merchant of Record, mandatory compliance with PCI/DSS standards is required, including the submission of a Report on Compliance and Attestation of Compliance. Proposals must be submitted by February 24, 2025, and should include a company profile, detailed work plan, references, pricing, and a Service Level Agreement. The City will award the contract based on the best value, evaluating factors such as experience, qualifications, price, and overall capability. Selected consultants must maintain significant insurance coverage, including at least one million dollars in Commercial General Liability and Professional Liability. The agreement includes strict certifications regarding criminal and ethical conduct, with any affirmative disclosure of fraud or embezzlement resulting in automatic disqualification. All services will be performed within Grand Traverse County, Michigan.
