This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is a request for quotations (RFQ) .The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-97. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - North Atlantic Philadelphia District is seeking to acquire services to inspect, repair and recertify the firefighting system onboard the Dredge McFarland. All interested companies shall provide quotations for the following: Specifications for Inspection, Testing and Recertification of the firefighting system onboard the Dredge McFARLAND. Description of Project: Inspection, testing and recertification of fixed, semi-portable and independent CO2 systems; all portable fire extinguishers, the Ansul fire suppression system in the galley and the fixed CO2 system on the Launch.
