Install Concrete V-Ditch on SR-905 in San Diego County

Caltrans District 11 is initiating a project on eastbound SR-905 in San Diego County, specifically from I-805 to Caliente Avenue along the thrie-beam guardrail, to address drainage system overloads and slope washouts caused by erosion from fill material. The scope of work involves removing approximately 1,100 linear feet of damaged concrete v-ditch between postmiles 5.4 and 5.6, installing 4,600 linear feet of new concrete v-ditch from postmiles 5.7 to 6.6, and replacing three damaged concrete aprons. The project focuses exclusively on the concrete ditch and aprons and will not involve modifications to the actual inlets or drainage systems. Technical specifications include an estimated cut quantity of 7,500 cubic feet with a soil disturbance depth of less than 6 inches.
