THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.


The United States Coast Guard Base Portsmouth intends to award a sole-source purchase order using the procedures at Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.102(a), as PVPII-FNSS ACQUISITION INC has been deemed the only one source available to meet this specific requirement due to specifications and diagnostic equipment for the Smith & Wesson Grab 300 Barrier system are proprietary to the original equipment manufacturer and are not publicly available. This purchase order is intended to be awarded to PVPII-FNSS ACQUISITION INC for the Installation of a new conduit pathway for the GRAB barrier system, installation of new 18/3 EFO wiring, and the integration of these systems to the exisiting Master Control Panel and Barrier Control Panel. The requirements document in the form of a draft Statement of Work is attached to this notice.
