The City of Morgan Hill is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to provide all labor, equipment, materials and performance of operation in connection with the on-call installation of mulch and engineered wood fiber in park play areas. Contractors submitting a proposal and their subcontractors must possess a valid California Contractors State Licensing Board (CSLB) C-27 license (Landscape Contractor). Prior to submitting a proposal,Contractors and their subcontractors must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) as a Public Works contractor pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5, and possess a DIR contractor registration #. Each worker performing work under this contract shall be paid at a rate not less than the prevailing wage as defined in Sections 1771 and 1774 of the Labor Code. The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements applicable to the locality in which the work is to be performed.
