The Instrumentation Radar Support Program (IRSP), identified by solicitation number FA2521-13-R-0008, is a Department of Defense initiative managed by the agency FA2521 45 Cons Pk located at Patrick SFB, Florida. Operating under NAICS code 334511, the program involves complex procurement and support requirements, including the management of approximately 1.4 million government parts. The acquisition process included an Industry Day event on August 15, 2013, to provide program overviews and address industry inquiries regarding transition risks, small business goals, and incumbent contractor history. Amendment 4 to the solicitation was specifically issued to correct a clerical error in Section L paragraph 2.3.1 by reinstating the phrase up to ten, which had been inadvertently removed in a previous amendment. This modification did not extend the deadline for the receipt of offers. Potential offerors were advised to submit all requests for clarification at least ten days prior to the RFP closing date, as responses to inquiries submitted after that window remained at the sole discretion of the Procuring Contracting Officer.
