Insurance Broker Services

The Legislative Assembly of British Columbia is seeking qualified insurance brokers to provide comprehensive brokerage services for general liability insurance coverage related to constituency offices, public events attended or held by Members of the Legislative Assembly, and other commercial spaces leased by the Assembly across the province. The selected broker will be responsible for the placement, administration, and ongoing management of these insurance policies, ensuring appropriate coverage is maintained and renewed as needed. The broker must hold an active registration with the Insurance Council of British Columbia and be fully authorized to operate as an insurance brokerage within the province. Proposals must be submitted by the deadline of July 15, 2026, in response to solicitation BCRFP-CSD-27-001, which was posted on July 9, 2026. All responses should be directed to the Contracting Authority at LABCprocurement@leg.bc.ca. The broker must demonstrate proven experience in servicing public sector clients, understanding of commercial liability risks associated with legislative functions, and the capacity to provide timely, reliable, and compliant insurance services across British Columbia. Selection will be based on the broker’s ability to meet the specific insurance needs of the Legislative Assembly and deliver professional, dedicated support throughout the term of the contract.
