The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency?s National Analytical Radiation Environmental Laboratory (NAREL) intends to award an Order under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Eichrom Technologies LLC of Lisle, Illinois. NAREL requires the exact supplies listed below as the resins, filters, columns, and cartridges have been tested and incorporated into NAREL?s radioanalytical methods and quality system, and the vacuum box accessories are for use with existing vacuum boxes. Therefore, NAREL cannot substitute for any of these items.
