Notice of Intent to Award - MOBILE DENTAL VAN HVAC UPGRADEThe Indian Health Service, Navajo Area, Crownpoint Service Unit plans to award a sole-source contract to Thermo King West, Inc. to modify a transport van with a vehicle-integrated HVAC system designed to maintain precise environmental conditions for sterilized dental instruments during transit between the main clinic and satellite locations. The contract has a projected one-year performance period and is classified under NAICS code 811121 with a small business size standard of $9.0 million. While this notice is not a solicitation, interested vendors may submit capability statements by July 28, 2026, via email to the designated point of contact, Janice Martinez. The government retains full discretion to evaluate responses and determine whether to proceed with a single-source award or open the requirement to competition. Responses must be in writing; verbal submissions will not be considered. The primary point of contact is available for inquiries, and all submissions must be sent to Janice.Martinez@ihs.gov.
