THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE-SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purposes only. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) intends to enter into a contract with Iowa State University - Genomic Technologies Facility of Ames, IA, herein referred to as Contractor, for providing Sequenom Genotyping services. The anticipated award date is on or about August 12, 2013 No responses were received to Sources Sought posting AG-6125-SS-13-0008 besides the Contractor. The NAICS code for this action is 541380. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government shall consider all responsible sources received within four days of this posting. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona-fide capability to fulfill the requirement.
