This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 "Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions". General Services Administration, Public Building Services intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract with Atlanta Downtown Improvement District, Inc., 34 Peachtree Street, Suite 200, Atlanta, GA 30303. This requirement is for the renewal of the Urban Development/Good Neighbor Partnership Services. Authority FAR 13.106(b)(i) "Soliciting from a single source" (i) Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). Atlanta Downtown Improvement District, Inc. (ADID) is the only authority for management of the Downtown Atlanta Community Improvement District (CID), as set forward in the Atlanta Community Improvement District Act, 1991 Ga. Law 3653. A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED The Government intends to proceed with this sole source action. The NAICS code is 813410 - Civic and Social Organizations. The size standard as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration is $8.0 million. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS I A solicitation will not be posted. The Government intends to proceed with this sole source action. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
