The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity proposes to award to Agave Biosystems Inc., 401 E. State St, Ithaca, NY, on a sole source basis, for the purchase of Agave Printed Circuit Board Systems fluidic biochips to work within the proprietary Agave Cell Maintenance System. Competing this requirement and awarding to any other source would result in substantial delays and disruption of ongoing research already in place and would also increase the overall cost to the Government. This procurement shall be under other than full and open competition procedures in accordance with FAR 6.302. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. If no written responses are received at least fifteen (15) days after the publication of this response, the purchase will be awarded without further notice.
