Full Description

Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Huachuca Division, DOC Operations Branch intends to award a noncompetitive sole source contract to Parata Systems LLC, 2600 Meridian Parkway, Suite 100 Durham, NC 27713 to provide maintenance and licensing of existing equipment utilized by Raymond W. Bliss Army Health Center Pharmacy and outlying facilities. Parata Systems. LLC is the Sole Source for the maintenance of the following Parata Products: Pharmacy 2000 including Flex Check, Parata MAX, and Parata MINI. This includes and, is not limited to, any upgrades or updates to hardware and software associated with any and all Parata Products. Parata Systems does not offer or sell replacement parts or components of the Products to any customer without a maintenance plan. Award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition. The statutory authority permitting other than Full and Open Competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(d) (1) (B), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1 (b), Soliciting from a single source (1) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334614. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations and a solicitation will not be issued for this requirement. Any responses or inquiries to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government.
