The justification for sole source is that tactical satellite simulators are very specialized pieces of equipment. There are very few manufacturers, and components are not interchangeable between systems. The Electronic Proving Ground (EPG) has multiple existing VIASAT systems and continued maintenance of the existing systems provides the best cost benefit in terms of price, personnel familiarization and training with the equipment, and consistency in our data products by using known equipment with a historical record of known performance. ACC-APG Huachuca and EPG are looking to find other potential vendors for that can meet our need. If you believe you can fulfill this requirement please contact the POCs below contact for consideration. All inquiries on this action can be submitted in writing via email to the POCs listed below by the closing date of this posting. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.
