Item 0001: Basler DECS-2100 Front-end Retrofit Kit. Quantity four (4) each to contain the following: This new controller's package integrates the functionality of the three-board set into one compact module, which offers improved immunity from electromagnetic interference and emissions, as well as finger-safe (IP20) interface for technical personnel. The ECM-2's multiple microprocessor architecture is complemented with firmware that supports an enhanced feature set offering improved flexibility, regulation, protection, and communications. This will change the model number from - ECS2100 to - DECS-2100. In addition, to assist in the transition, BASLER has also developed a common Software program called BESTCOMS'Pro to communicate with either the ECS2100 (three-board set) or the new DECS-2100. The kit includes two retrofit ECM-2 module control channels - with active Power System Stabilizer - developed especially for replacing the three-circuit-board ECS2100 digital excitation controller with the ECM-2 control module, with terminals configured to mate directly with the cables already installed in the ECS2100 logic cubicle. The ECM-2 will serve as the main-control for the upgraded static excitation system. The retrofit consists of two (2) ECM-2 controllers each on a Mounting Chassis (approximately 25 lbs. each) which allows the ECM-2 to mount in the holes already provided for the ECS2100 three-board set with terminal blocks mounted to allow the installer to connect the existing cables in the same locations (as is feasible) with other items as described below: Fiber Optic Cable and Connector Kit Fiber-optic communication cable to support replacement of cables, in the existing cabinet, to connect to the new module's fiber optic communications ports - and connectors and preparation tool. Basler Electric IDP-1500 Kit The IDP-1500 Kit is for mounting on the door of the existing ECS2100 excitation control system, consisting of: IDP-1500, Interactive Display Panel (programmed), 15.6 (diagonal), high-resolution color touchscreen operator's local interface to monitor status of DECS-2100, to control operation, to adjust setpoints, etc. Please see product bulletin TPJ Basler factory-configured settings for the IDP-1500 Instruction Manual to guide installation USB Hub, for connection of user's PC to ECM-2 module's USB port Cisco IE-2000-4TS-G-B managed Ethernet switch DIN rail for USB hub and Ethernet Switch ECM-2 Settings File, Basler factory modified file from customer supplied ECS2100 settings file. The customer must provide, to BASLER, a copy of the installed ECS2100's .ccf files, currently in use, before modification and configuration design work can commence. Software and Configurations for existing BCMs: These files will be sent for use in the necessary version upgrades. Firmware update files for existing bridge control modules (BCMs) Configuration Files, for BCMs One Set of BESTCOMS'Pro Software - compatible with Windows Standard Factory Tests Retrofit Drawings, to assist in interface with existing ECS2100, The schematic drawing sheets, for the ECS2100 Static exciters, ESEC00C5Snn - which had been created in 2004 for the Lower Granite Project Unit 2, by Cutler-Hammer ECE in Asheville, NC - will serve as the starting-point templates. The proposed revisions are limited to the documentation of the incorporation of the specific equipment offered herein and do not include details beyond the confines of the ECS2100 voltage regulator cabinets. The drawings made may not reflect other changes made to these systems after shipment. Four (4) Sets Instruction Books Item 0002: Assembly for Remote IDP-1500, with Accessories. Quantity one (1) each to contain the following: Power supply assembly Basler Electric IDP-1500, Interactive Display Panel 15.6 inch (diagonal), high-resolution color touchscreen operator's interface to monitor status of DECS-2100, operation, to adjust setpoints, etc.
