The Government has a requirement to provide Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Aegis Training Support Services (ATTS) for the sustainment and maintenance of the hardware and software baselines of the Aegis Trainers, including the Aegis Ashore Team Trainer (AATT) and Aegis Virtual Operator Trainer (AVOT) systems within the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense System (ABMD) & Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD). SAM.gov sources sought notice N61340-22-R-0087 resulted in negative sources that could provide the Government's requested requirements, nor was there any inquiry or question regarding this posting. As such, the Government's believes LM RMS to be the only one source capable executing the requirement as the owner of the proprietary software utilized within the Aegis Training Systems devices. However, in an effort to explore additional potential sources, the Government is posting this "Intent to Sole Source" and requesting if any additional sources can provide the requirement within the time-line requested by the Government, please see the attached notice of intent to sole source.
