Intent to Sole Source: Beacon Point Associates Special Notice Number: N0025917N0033 THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Naval Medical Center San Diego anticipates making a sole source award under statutory authority 15 U.S.C. 657f, Sole source awards under the Veterans Benefits Act of 2003 and FAR 19.1406, Sole Source Awards to Service-disabled Veteran-owned Small Business Concerns with: Beacon Point Associates 1216 SW 4th St, Suite 4 Cape Coral, FL 33991-2129 The objective of this sole source award is to procure supplies for Hip Arthroscopy for Diagnostic, Labral and Capsule Closure. The following are the minimum requirements of the government: 1. The diagnostic supplies must have: a. A bridge adaptor that aligns to the government owned Stryker hip scope. b. Must have a polymer cannula that is compatible with government owned Stryker hip scope and bridge. c. Polymer cannula must have a 4mm working diameter to ensure capsule incision can be made. 2. The supplies for labral repair must: a. Be a 1.4 mm PEEK anchor b. PEEK Anchor must have straight and curved capabilities. c. Anchor must align to government owned Stryker guides 3. The supplies for Capsule Closure must: a. Have a 70 degree up angle b. Be able to pass and retrieve suture using a single portal c.
