The proposed contractor is the only contractor certified and authorized by the original manufacturer of the equipment to provide parts and service in Wisconsin. All interested parties who feel they have the capability to perform these services must submit a capability statement no later than 2:00 P.M., Eastern Daylight Time on 1 August 2013. Your response must demonstrate your firm's capabilities and experience. The qualified contractor must have the experience in furnishing and delivering required parts and services for repairs to the tainter gate lifting mechanisms with Auma Actuators, gear boxes and associated equipment. All submittals will be considered by the Government and will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort with full and open competition, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. No request for proposal (RFP) will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent. Interested parties may submit any information for consideration by the government to: Dean.Liguori@usace.army.mil and LRE-Quotes@usace.army.mil with "BPA for Fox River Dam Repairs" in the subject line.
