Full Description

USPFO of Louisiana intends to award a sole source procurement to Power Test Inc., N60 W14630 Kaul Avenue, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051. The award will be made for the upgrade of the existing Power Test dynamometer control system. The upgrade will provide an upgrade from analog to a digital system. This procurement is being made pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) 1 and FAR Part 6.302-1, for other than full and open competition; only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Power Test is the manufacturer of the existing control system and is the only known source which can install proper upgrades. An upgrade is less expensive and more advantageous to the government. All qualified sources must respond not later than 30 April 2008, 1100 hours CST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
