Description:
This requirement is accomplished in accordance with RFO 12.201-1. The 68 RQs is looking for a 2 week course focused on Department of Defense (DoD) Drop Zone/Assault Zone/Medical Evacuations analysis and techniques including the integration of various software applications and hardware. This course must meet the criteria set forth in AFI 13-217 (Drop Zone & Landing Zone Operations). This training program is designed specifically to support United States Government personnel engaged in assessment and survey operations across various environments. The training courses are tailored for mission sets that include Drop Zones, Helicopter Landing Zones, Forward Arming and Refueling Points, and Airfield and Landing Zone surveying and operations. It includes instruction on tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP's), as well as applied use of digital survey equipment, GNSS/GPS tools, and field-based data collection and processing workflows. STS, Inc. provides specialized equipment kits built to support the operational methods taught in the course. These kits are assembled to ensure compatibility with field requirements and are configured to function in environments with limited infrastructure or support. The training and equipment are developed together as a unified capability. The combination of curriculum, tools, and mission alignment allows for consistent and efficient deployment by government units operating in diverse and often austere conditions.
