Solicitation details, issuing organization, response deadlines, documents, and interested companies for this government contract opportunity.
AI Contract Overview
Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound intends to sole source a contract to Rix Industries for air compressor parts required for the MCM-14 Medium Pressure Air Compressor. This decision is based on the necessity for parts to meet specific form, fit, and function requirements defined by NAVSEA Technical Manual S6220-D2-MMA-010 and OEM drawing B12744. Because Rix Industries is the original equipment manufacturer, their parts are essential for repairing the MPAC Model No. 2KX2-30A/B to avoid potential equipment damage or operational failure. The government will evaluate quotes based on technical specifications, delivery dates, price, and past performance. While this is intended as a sole source procurement, interested companies may still express interest to determine if a competitive procurement is warranted. The anticipated award date is September 2026, and the process is being managed by contracting official Crista Carrier under solicitation number N0040626Q0502.
