*INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE* PowerScribe 360 Maintenance

Synopsis for 88th MDSS/SGSM PowerScribe 360 Maintenance: This is a combined Sole Source Synopsis / Solicitation published for informational purposes only. This proposed action is for the procurement of a maintenance for the PowerScribe 360 Radiology Reporting System for the 88th MDSS/SGSM Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. See Attachment 1, Statement of Work, and Attachment 2, Redacted Sole Source Justification. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), - Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available, and 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This proposed procurement will be a Sole Source under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 811219: Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. Business size standard for NAICS 811219 is $22 Million Annually. PSC/FSC code: J065 - Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment- Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies The proposed source is Carahsoft, located at 11493 Sunset Hills RD, STE 100, Reston, Virginia 20190-5230. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, quotation or exception to the intent to purchase on a sole source basis, which shall be considered by the Government, if received by Tuesday, July 5 2022 at 3:00 P.M. EST. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. In order to comply with FAR 5.207(c)(15), the reason for lack of competition is as follows: The 88th MDSS/SGSM intends to award this contract to Carahsoft as they are the only authorized federal distributor for the maintenance of the PowerScribe 360 system already in place at Wright-Patterson AFB Medical Center for the Radiology Department. Delivery Schedule: As required Delivery Destination: 88th DTS/SGQC 4881 Sugar Maple Dr. Medical Blvd. Wright-Patterson AFB, OH 45433 Delivery Type: N/A Inspection and Acceptance: Both inspection and acceptance will be by the Government at Destination.
