Interceptor Line Maintenance and Mowing Services

The County of Moore, North Carolina, is soliciting proposals under RFP 2026-01 for interceptor line maintenance and mowing services for the Moore County Water Pollution Control Plant. The scope of work requires the contractor to provide all labor, equipment, and supervision to annually clear 16 miles of interceptor line and mow 3 miles of force main. Maintenance involves a combination of mechanical and hand clearing, with a minimum of 50 percent hand clearing required, extending approximately 30 feet wide from tree line to tree line. Contractors are required to maintain 1,000,000 dollars in general liability insurance and comply with North Carolina Workers Compensation laws, OSHA safety regulations, and the Iran Divestment Act. The agreement is governed by North Carolina law and includes standard provisions for indemnification, non-discrimination, and audit rights. Payments will be processed upon the receipt and approval of itemized monthly invoices, subject to the availability of funds.
